Reverend George Piggford, CSC


Rev. George Piggford, CSC, has been a professor of English at Stonehill College in Easton, MA, since 2004. He earned his Doctorate in English literature and French theory at the University of Montreal and spent two years teaching at Tufts University before entering formation for the Congregation of Holy Cross. He was ordained as a priest in 2005. Fr. Piggford’s research and teaching interests include modernism and postmodernism, gender, and questions of transcendence in literature. He is presently writing on Flannery O’Conner.
