Father Peyton Center, Mass. USA: Our Lady of Sorrows Rosary & Healing Mass

10/22/2013

Was the great turnout because it was an unseasonably warm day, or was it because so many of us need healing? On Sunday, September 15, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, more than 350 people gathered with us for Rosary, a Healing Mass and a Blessing with a Saint André Relic. With extra chairs lining the back and aisles of St. Joseph Chapel, as well as the foyer, everyone had the opportunity to participate and receive a blessing. We were so grateful for the many volunteers, including student volunteers from Stonehill College, without whom the event would not have been possible. We give thanks for the priests who gave time during their busiest day of the week, Father James Chichetto, CSC; Father Russell McDugall, CSC; Father Michael Lavallee, pastor of St. Ann in Oxford, MA; Father David Marcham, Vice-Postulator for the Cause of Servant of God Patrick Peyton, and our Chaplain, Father Leo Polselli, CSC. If you weren’t with us, know that you were with us in spirit as we offered petitions for all those who were not with use due either due to illness or distance. You can post your prayer petitions anytime at www.FamilyRosary.org/PRAY.

Our Lady of Sorrows is the feast day of the Congregation of Holy Cross, the order of Father Peyton our founder, as well as Father John Phalen, CSC, our President; Father Leo Polselli, CSC, our Chaplain; and Father Jim Phalan, CSC, our International Director.
