Praying the Rosary can help all of us, especially families, with the daily experiences of life. Father John Phalen, CSC, shared his thoughts with viewers of Catholic TV’s news magazine show ClearVoice. Father John appeared on the program recently to spread the good word about the upcoming Family Rosary Retreat* on Saturday June 2.

Father John stressed the importance of family prayer saying that, “The Rosary is a way for all of us to share in the mysteries of Christ’s joys and sufferings as we encounter our own ups and downs in life.”

Father John was also excited to mention that Family Rosary and Family Theater Productions are both celebrating important anniversaries this year. Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, Servant of God, founded Family Rosary in 1942, 70 years ago and Family Theater Productions opened its doors 65 years ago. Their success at sharing the importance of family prayer has helped instill in many hearts and minds Father Peyton’s legacy, his mission and his message that, “The Family That Prays Together, Stays Together.”

Father John Phalen, CSC, was interviewed by John Monahan, who is also the Communications/Marketing Manager for Holy Cross Family Ministries. You can see the complete interview which aired on May 10, 2012 by visiting: www.CatholicTV/ClearVoice
