Robert Alzapiedi

Chief Administrative Officer

Holy Cross Family Ministries

Robert (Bob) Alzapiedi is the Chief Administrative Officer of Holy Cross Family Ministries, Easton, Mass., the international prayer and media ministries furthering the family prayer and media mission of the Rosary priest, Catholic media pioneer and sainthood candidate, Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, CSC.

Since 2008 when he became CAO, Bob has been responsible for the day-to-day operation of Holy Cross Family Ministries, which includes the international headquarters in Easton, and its member ministries Family Rosary with locations in 17 countries; the Father Peyton Family Institute, Easton, Massachusetts and Lima, Peru; and Family Theater Productions, a Catholic media ministry in Hollywood, Calif.

Bob describes his duties as “navigating a ship, keeping it on its course.” That includes “making sure all aspects of the ministries run like a well-oiled machine, so everyone, staff and the public, see how related are its various activities – from producing radio and TV programs in Hollywood for evangelization of culture to conducting Rosary events in the U.S. and other countries, and to gathering and distributing 1.2 million Rosaries a year.”

His vision, which is being realized with the re-design and re-launch of the ministries’ websites, is taking the use of media to the next level with the web and other emerging technologies. “With the power of the internet, we can virtually gather millions of people to pray simultaneously. Also, we can connect all our offices globally, so any news, information, products, talks, classes, are shared with our entire organization, including our patrons, supporters and all those we serve. Our goal is to use technology to enrich how we reach families around the world.”

Bob has been a business manager, corporate controller, marketing director for a media organization, and principal of a consulting firm, which focused on business strategies for Catholic religious congregations, including the Marist Fathers of Boston and the Eastern Province of Priests and Brothers of the Congregation of Holy Cross, which sponsors Holy Cross Family Ministries.

He has a master’s degree in theology/pastoral ministry from Anna Maria College, Paxton, Mass., and a bachelor’s degree from Worcester State College, Worcester, Mass.

Bob and his wife have two children. He has been active in parish ministry as a catechist, music minister, finance committee chairperson, and pastoral councilor.
