Families gathered together on Saturday, June 2, for a full day of activities at the Family Rosary Retreat, which included Eucharistic Adoration, a Mission Rosary, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and a Vigil Mass celebrated by Bishop John Dooher D.D., Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Boston. The entire day was offered in English and Spanish at Cardinal Spellman High School, Brockton, Massachusetts, USA.

Based on the theme “Closest Neighbors, Trustworthy Friends, Brothers and Sisters: Living the Beatitudes Together in Christ,” keynote talks were given for the English track by Sister Theresa Rickard, O.P., President of RENEW International and developer of the ARISE PROGRAM; and the Spanish track keynote was given by noted psychologist Dr. José Fermín.

“We are pleased to be able to continue Father Peyton’s mission of bringing families together in prayer.” said Father John Phalen, CSC, President of Holy Cross Family Ministries. “It was an enriching day for all those gathered with us.”
