Favors Reported
This may seem small in comparison to other favors and cures attributed to Fr. Peyton's intercession, but I wanted to share my story with you. In June 2007, I lost my job with a major bank in Boston, MA and was only given a small severance package. I was devastated because my wife had given birth to my son, our third child just two months earlier. My wife was only working part time and we were already struggling to pay the mortgage on our small house as well as keep my daughter in the local Catholic School. I became worried and depressed not knowing how soon I would be able to find another job. I happened to turn on the TV one night during this and came across EWTN's broadcast of "A Most Unusual Man", Fr. Peyton's story. I was moved and impressed by Fr. Peyton's faith and message. I felt compelled shortly after this to pray for his intercession to help me out of this situation. I was still worried but began to feel confident that something good would come of this. With two weeks of my lay off, I had recieved an offer for another job. This job paid a little more and also allowed me to work less hours and spend more time with my family. This also answered my wife's prayers, since I started working at the new job before my severance pay from my previous employer ran out, we were able to use the extra money to visit her family in Georgia. It was the last time she saw her grandfather before he died a few months later.
I truly feel that Fr. Peyton's intercession helped me and my family out our difficult situation.
