Fr. Patrick Peyton and Antonio Infante
"Great advances have been made but the end is still not in sight. There is a world to win. Yet even when that world is won and the Family Rosary Crusade is finished, the Story of the Family Rosary will go on. For it is a living story -- a story of the prayer of a living family which will worship God and honour Mary for all eternity."

One-time Gifts

To encourage families to take advantage of the benefits of praying the Rosary, Fr. Peyton held Rosary rallies, produced films, television, and radio programs to encourage families to pray the Rosary, and also gave millions of Rosaries to families who asked for them. In 1991, Fr. Peyton launched the Rosaries for Russia Campaign and he sent two million Rosaries to Russia. Today, Holy Cross Family Ministries distributes hundreds of thousands of Rosaries to people who request them.

However, recent history of Rosary distribution reveals that only some of the worldwide need for Rosaries is being met. For the years of 2001 and 2002, Holy Cross Family Ministries was able to meet about 50% of the need for Rosaries. The average number of Rosaries distributed in 2001 and 2002 was 775,232 per year. The average cost for those two years (excluding administrative costs) was $273,000.  This includes the costs of shipping and processing purchased Rosaries and Rosaries that were donated to Holy Cross Family Ministries.

We receive Rosaries requests from all over the world. A gift of $20.00 can send about 50 Rosaries to Ghana; a gift of $30 can send about 150 Rosaries to families in the United States; and a gift of $1,000 can send approximately 2,500 Rosaries to Peru.
