Fr. Phalen's visit to the Philippines

Family Rosary International: Philippines

During the Month of October Fr. John Phalen, CSC, president of Holy Cross Family Ministries, made a visit to the International Office of Family Rosary Crusade in the Philippines.  Fr. Phalen made many stops at parishes and schools during his visit to speak about the Rosary and to encourage families to pray the Rosary.

One of his visits was to the Lay Force Chapel at San Carlos Seminary where he celebrated the Eucharist and preached on the Mysteries of the Rosary.  Later on that day he spoke on the life and works of Servant of God Father Patrick Peyton, CSC, on the Congregation of Holy Cross and the ministry of Holy Cross Family Ministries.

Another day gave him the oppportunity to speak at Siena College at a Rosary Rally.  His topic was "Mary, a Mother of compassion to Humankind".  The event was attended by the students from the elementary schools and the college.

Fr. Phalen had an interview with World Mission Magazine which took place at the Family Rosary Crusade Office. During this interview, Father Phalen touched on topics of family prayer and the praying of the Rosary.

Father Phalen had many visits, gave numerous talks and had many meetings during his trip to the Philippines.
