Our lives today are hectic. Our obligations are many, our leisure limited, the pressure to adopt worldly standards of success seductive and hard to resist.As Christians, however, we believe that God is our heavenly Father and that he dwells within us so we can turn to him at any moment of our busy lives and find peace. We believe we find true happiness in being a Child of God and doing God’s will.
When we pray together in our families, we set aside the cares and pressures of the day so our minds are open to God’s inspirations and our hearts to God’s grace. In family prayer we discover what God wants of us. We find unity in our common ideals and grace to be faithful to them.
This is the reason why families that pray together stay together.
