The carefully chosen gifts family members and friends give us have value to us far beyond the price of the gifts themselves. Their gifts symbolize and remind us how much they love and cherish us.God has given us many gifts too. Our faith tells us that “in God we live and move and have our being” that “the heavens declare His glory and the firmament is the work of His hands” that He has given us His Son who has opened for us the way to eternal life.
When we believe that God is our heavenly Father and that every good gift comes from Him, we take nothing for granted. Everything and everyone around us becomes precious in our eyes and a proof of God’s love for us. Faith gives us the right perspective on ourselves, on others and on the world. Faith teaches us true respect and profound gratitude. Faith fills us with joy.
